The latest case is in Costa Mesa, where police officers shot a driver who allegedly drove towards them. Now, I don't know about y'all, but it seems to me like these police officers are trigger-happy and don't know how to de-escalate situations.

The driver in question was apparently driving erratically and hit several parked cars before the police arrived. Now, I'm not condoning reckless driving, but that doesn't justify shooting someone. According to the police, the driver drove towards them, and that's why they opened fire. But why not shoot at the tires or find another way to stop the car? The police have shown time and time again that they are quick to use deadly force when it's not necessary.
